Stop Dreaming and Focus Mika!

Hey everybody!

I hope everyone had a good weekend! All I did was volunteer, homework and recorded more videos. The videos are of me singing, so…. yeah… I am unsure if I am posting them up on youtube. (after listening to myself, I realized I need to work on my voice T-T) Actually, I have the idea to post my singing videos up, so viewers around the world could give me advice on how to improve. What do you think? Should I post up my singing videos to get people's advice?

OMG!!!! I am so disappointed in myself because I totally failed my Calculus 2 exam! We had 6 problems plus a bonus on our exam, but I only answered 3.5-4 questions at the max. (I am not even sure they were right!) *CRIES* When I got the exam, I don’t know what happened, but I just froze and couldn’t remember how to do anything. Thankfully, I know that partial credit will be given, so I am praying for a miracle where the TA shows mercy. From this experience, I am determined to work 10x harder to ace my other exams. (I cannot afford to drop or fail this course!) If any of you reading this are good with Calculus, please help me! On the positive side though, I did great on my Managerial Accounting exam! My professor even offered the class 10 points extra credit for bringing in 2 cans to donate this coming week! (She is awesome!)

Well, I learned not to dwell on the past because that will only hold you back… so that is what I am trying to do. (it is hard!) To my readers: Keep your head up and continue to go forward! Have a wonderful week!

~ Mika

Birthday Shout-out:

February 17- Ruth (good friend): Thank you so much for inviting me to your party, but I am sorry that I couldn’t make it! I will visit you as soon as I have time to chill and catch up on your life.

February 22- Lynda (my younger sister): I love you Lynda and I cannot believe that you are already 18. I am so proud of who you have become.

Listening to: Love Story (Instrumental version) by Taylor Swift [ I recorded myself singing this song this weekend! ]

Hey it never hurts to dream just a little bit.

About the calculus test, it really depends on how generous the TA's are because from previous experience, I can tell you that when I was in calculus 2, we had awesome TA's and on a particular test I also left a couple only answered 3-4 questions but did partial work on the rest and ended up getting a 79 with the curve (originally a 74). So hopefully your TA is as generous as mine were and you'll get a passing grade.

Well, regardless if you do post it up, sing every day =] It'll take time to improve, probably a long time! It's all about those muscles ;-)

Sorry to hear about your Calculus!! Hope it comes out alright. In the past I'd be ready to help you out... but I'm a bit rusty. I used to love Physics and Calculus honestly... ^^" Yea... not exactly many people's favorite subjects.
