Heya everyone! What has everyone been up to lately? Update!
I finally finished one of my classes last week, woot! I somewhat liked the Matrices class because I was good at it. Is it weird that I miss it? Now I seriously need to get my brain to function efficiently and figure out how I can grasp business statistics to ACE the class. A friend of mine told me that the class is easy, however I do not feel that way at all. :( WHY!?!? HELP!
So, I finally went to the mall again yesterday after months of concentrating on school and work. You know they have this new business stand that is called an “Oxygen Bar”? It is not really new since the first Oxygen bar officially opened in 1996 in Toronto, Canada. Has anyone seen these bars before? o.O Basically, you pay the person in charge by the minute for your chosen exotic oxygen (flavored, scented oxygen gas) in which you breath in through rubber tubes that attaches to the ear (similar to those in hospitals). I do not know much about this, but from what I see I do not think I want to try it. To me it looks like these exotic gas could be addicting, expensive, and may be a health hazard? This is just my opinion, so I hope I do not offend anyone! (Sorry if I did) Below, I have included a picture and link to the wikipedia page I found about these oxygen bars.
Tell me what you think of this whether you have or do not have experience with these bars yourself. :)

Don't worry about offending anybody, Cindy! I totally agree with you about the whole Oxygen bar ordeal. It just seems stupid. Why pay to break exotic smells? I mean don't we have lotion and other aromas to smell naturally? Why pay for something that is probably like you said unhealthy and unnatural?
I am glad to hear you took a nice trip to the mall after your classes! I think everybody should just go window shopping! Its just nice to walk around look at stuff and most of all not worry about anything in particular. Of course, like you I have summer classes to worry about, but I never say no to a stroll in the mall!
I also 100% agree with you that Statistics suck. I took statistics a while back when I was doing nursing and I was just recently informed that I have to take business stats. Its quite easy with a calculator. The problem with stats is that they first teach you the long way and then out of now where they show you the 1 min way on the calculator. >_<
Well, I hope you are enjoying your summer and try not to work to hard! You have the rest of your life to work hard! Besides, all this hard work will pay off when you graduate! Eeekkk!!! who knows when I will graduate -_- heh
Have a great day, Cindy!
Mm yesh. Statistics is a different math of sorts. You just have to accept everything as truth (those weird equations and chi tests and stuff)... at least you're not deriving anything!
It's like memorizing a new science. I suggest writing out each thing yourself. Things to know about each: the name (duh!), the reason you choose that test, what each variable is, and how to read those weird tables that go with each test. That's about it! Basic statistics isn't that much, except weird boring reads. I had a biostat book for my class, and it was the worst read ever. Didn't get anything out of it. Didn't open it after day 2.
And, what the heck? Oxygen Bars? Must be interesting to smell test, but I don't know if smelling it for a while is necessary. It might have some bad things about it, depending on how exactly the flavorize it... sounds fishy. Maybe you get lots of phlegm :-P
Regardless, I don't think I want to be sniffing air through a nasal cannula for too long... it really dries up the airways ><
I have never tried the "Oxygen Bar" and have never heard of it. I, too, do not think I will partake in the "Oxygen Bar" craze lol.
